Description

The executive coach academy consists of a Foundations program and an Advanced program.

Foundations program

The Foundations program is for people who want to develop their personal and professional coaching competencies based on Transactional Analysis and other theories. It includes six two-day workshops, supervision and peer accountability groups. The Foundations program is open to participants at all levels from all fields of application.

During the accreditation workshop, participants will present their theoretical framework and business plan. The program offers 80 hours of accredited training and 16 hours of supervision.

By the end of the program, we expect participants will be able to:

  • be aware of own values and beliefs that guide their practice.
  • practice and evaluate their own coaching skills.
  • build a coaching relationship based on trust and respect.
  • practice active listening, ask powerful questions and give appropriate feedback to enable learning.
  • be focused on the realization of the client contract offering a range of options.
  • reflect on their own effectiveness and request and accept client feedback.

Advanced program

The Advanced program is for people who want to deepen their executive coaching skills.

Participants will understand the step-by-step process of executive coaching. It includes six two-day workshops, supervision, client practice, supervision  and peer accountability groups.

A Foundations coaching and/or TA program is mandatory before attending the Advanced program.

During the accreditation workshop, participants will present their client case study. The program offers 80 hours of accredited training and 16 hours of supervision.

By the end of the program, we expect participants will be able to:

  • rigorously reflect on their own practice and get regular supervision.
  • establish appropriate contracts, based on ethics and an awareness of boundaries of own competencies.
  • build a relationship of genuine empathy and support to facilitate client autonomy.
  • use a range of techniques to generate options with the client.
  • plan actions, identify potential barriers and help client take responsibility for their action plan.
